Boil the eggs for about six minutes so that they are neither too soft and runny nor completely hard-boiled. Cool quickly under cold water so you can hold the shells then carefully remove the shells. Meanwhile, grill (or fry) the bacon and (if you feel the need) lightly butter the bread.
Place two bacon rashers (slices) onto a slice of bread then put the egg on top. Roughly chop the egg so that the yolk runs over the bacon then quickly place the second slice of bread on top to form the sandwich. Oh messy bliss!!
