Brandy Butter

Ingredients

4 oz - unsalted butter

4 oz - icing sugar (a.k.a powdered or confectioners' sugar)

2 tablespoons - boiling water

3 tablespoons - brandy

Directions

  1. Allow the butter to soften at room temperature then cream together the butter and the icing sugar. Beat in the boiling water and brandy until smooth.
  2. Chill until needed and serve with mince pies or Christmas Pudding.
