Ingredients
6 medium-sized -
potatoes
1 oz -
butter
up to ½ cup -
milk
4 oz -
mixed chopped nuts
Directions
- Peel the potatoes and follow the recipe for creamed potatoes. Leave the potato to cool then divide and shape into balls about 2" (5cm) in diameter. Place on a flat surface and flatten slightly with a broad knife (or your hand) so that you have a circular shape about 3" (7.5cm) in diameter and 1" (2.5cm) deep.
- Roll the potato shapes in a saucer of chopped nuts to coat the exterior then place them on a greased baking tray and cook in a preheated moderate oven Mk 6 - 400ºF - 200ºC for about 20 - 25 minutes until crisp and golden brown.
