How to Cook Bacon and Cheese Burger Topping
- First, make the burgers, remove from the pan and place them on a plate in a warm oven. Chop the bacon into small pieces and fry for 2-3 minutes in the pan in which the burgers were made.
- Place the grated cheese, butter, Worcestershire sauce, milk, mustard and cooked bacon pieces into a mixing bowl and, using a fork, blend well together. Spoon some of this mixture over each burger and place under a preheated moderate grill until melted and golden brown.
Whilst making the burgers, leave the butter in a dish a room temperature to soften a little before mixing
