How to Cook Classic Meatloaf with Mustard Sauce
- Line one large loaf tin, or two smaller ones, with baking paper, and grease well. Preheat the oven to moderate (Mk 3 - 325°F - 170°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the meatloaf ingredients. Mix well and heap into the tin(s). If using two smaller tins, bake for 30-40 minutes. For a large tin, bake for 60-75 minutes depending on desired doneness.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine all the mustard sauce ingredients and bring to a gentle rolling boil for about 5 minutes. Stir, and remove from the heat.
- Slice the meat loaf and serve with the mustard sauce and a green salad.
