Reviews of Leek and Bacon Platter
![]() I first came across this recipe in a Sainsbury's cook book about 35 years ago! It was delicious then and it's still delicious today. I've never tried to vary it - why change perfection??? It really is a delicious side dish to poultry, fish, or virtually any "fry-up". I've never yet seen any left on the plate! tatsu (6 reviews) |
![]() Oh jeez, that is to die for! You can eat this with ANYTHING! Honest, it is soooo good and tasty. The saltiness of the bacon works just great with the leeks and we've already had it with chicken with sausages, with scrambled eggs. It's endless! Love it. alabamagirl (4 reviews) |
